This project is a successful collaboration between Andison Residential Design, custom home builder Thelo Homes, Ben Knopp Real Estate, and interior designer Dwelling Interior Design, with a shared vision to create a unique and functional living space.

The design emphasizes the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, with a particular focus on the rear of the property. The sloped lot has been utilized to create a multi-level haven for outdoor living. Each of the two units boasts a spacious second-story deck, providing an ideal setting for al fresco dining and relaxation with scenic views. At the lower level, walk-out basements open to private patios, each thoughtfully appointed with a hot tub, offering a secluded and luxurious retreat. Expansive glass doors on both the main and lower floors ensure a fluid transition, blurring the lines between the interior living areas and the inviting outdoor environments.

A key element of the design is the clever management of a rear-lane double-car garage. This configuration not only maintains the clean aesthetic of the front facade but also provides direct, secure interior access to each unit. This highly desirable feature adds a layer of convenience and safety, making it easy for residents to enter their homes directly from the garage, especially during Calgary’s colder months.

The front of the duplex features a modern aesthetic with a mix of red brick and dark siding. The large windows and distinctive arched window on one unit fill the spaces with natural light. The front patios, enclosed by a decorative screen, offer a private and stylish space for each home.

Ramsay 128 is a testament to thoughtful and innovative design, creating a pair of modern infill homes that are both beautiful and highly functional, perfectly suited to the dynamic lifestyle of the Ramsay community.
