For two decades, Andison Residential Design has created custom estate homes, acreage residences, luxury infills, and major renovations for clients in Calgary, across Alberta, and throughout Canada and the United States. Every home begins with an understanding of how you live, the site it will stand on, and the details that make it entirely yours. Because we intentionally partner with a limited number of clients each year, every project receives our team’s full attention, from the first site visit through design, permitting, and the start of construction.

Andison Residential Design is a family studio, founded by Dave and Kelsey Andison.

A Note From Our Founders

Meet the Team

2006

Dave founds Andison Drafting & Design and spends years as a contract designer for several of Calgary’s custom home builders, learning what makes a set of drawings truly buildable.

2009

Dave meets Kelsey, who studied Interior Design at TAFE in Perth, Western Australia. A partnership in life and in design begins.

2015

Dave and Kelsey formally join forces as Andison Residential Design.

2018

The studio opens its first office in Marda Loop.

2021

As the team and the scale of its projects grow, the studio moves to its current home in Calgary’s Beltline.

Today

More than 500 homes designed, from estate homes and acreage residences to luxury infills across Canada and the United States, in collaboration with many of the industry’s most respected custom home builders and interior designers.

A Note From Our Founders

Every home we design begins with a simple question: how do you want to live? For two decades and more than 500 homes, answering it well has been our life’s work.

We ask that question as parents, too. Raising our two children has taught us how a home really works for a family: the morning rush through the mudroom, the kitchen island where homework and long conversations happen, the quiet corner at the end of a busy day. We bring that understanding to every design, because your home is where your family’s most important moments will unfold.

Behind every commission is a team that knows how homes are actually built. Every drawing set is produced in-house, coordinated with engineers and consultants, and carried through the permitting process, so the builders and interior designers we work with across Canada and the United States can build from it with confidence.

We keep our workload deliberately small so the two of us stay personally involved in every project. You’ll know us by name, and we’ll come to know your family: your routines, your traditions, and the way you want to live. Being entrusted with a family’s home is a privilege we never take lightly.
